The map shows the flood risk for all rivers and lakes
of Swiss national interest within the next 24 hours. The colouring of
the rivers is based on a combination of pure model output and
interpretation by the hydrologist. The colouring of the lakes is based
on the inflow and outflow forecasts.

Hydrological bulletin of the Federal Office for the
Environment (FOEN)
The Federal Office of the Environment
(FOEN) provides semiweekly (on Monday and Thursday) information about
the current hydrological situation and developments expected in
subsequent days. During particular events, the bulletin is published
more frequently. This medium is not used to diseminate flood warnings.
The bulletin is only available in German and French. During particular
events in Italian-speaking Switzerland, the bulletin will also be
published in Italian.
